Term 4 Highlights

Since school is ending soon we had to do highlights for term 4. This is my highlights.

Blobfish comic- Reading

In reading we had to make a comic and we could go into groups if we wanted too. I went with biqi. since we love blob fishes we made this amazing comic! Its called the great adventures of blobby. Enjoy!!

Gruffalo- Reading

In reading we had to study on a character from the gruffalo. I had to do the fox. We had to make a poster on what the character is like on the outside and the inside.

Tawhirimatea- Reading

For reading we were doing myths and legends. Ms Jay gave us a moari god that we had to research on. We got Tawhirimatea. Tawhirimatea is the god of the wind.

Urdu numbers up to 1-20

for math we had to write numbers up to 1 to 20 in the language we speak at home. I speak Urdu at home so i had to write Urdu numbers.

Tuvalu

For reading we had to learn about Tuvalu. We got into 3 groups and made a slide about their culture, tradition, people and language.

Narrative writing- Camp

We are going to camp for 3 days and 2 nights. Our teacher told us to write a narrative. This is my narrative...


“THE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING!!” there was this random group coming out of the cafeteria. My group went inside and we could smell.. NOODLES!! SUSHI! And Mashed potatoes!! OMG!! MY FAVE FOOD!! (except the sushi).

I took like everything! (except the sushi..) I took the mashed potatoes and it smelled like the kind granny used to make!! :) i took a bite into it and… OMG THIS FOOD TASTES JUST LIKE…. MY COOKING!! EWWWW!! (yeah my cooking is really bad..). Oh well, the noodles might taste nice. It smells good, it looks good, and it tastes LIKE.. LIKE.. WORDS CAN'T DESCRIBE HOW DISGUSTING IT IS!! DON'T THE COOKS IN THE CAMP KNOW HOW TO MAKE NOODLES? Noodles should always taste good!

After my whole group was totally disgusted by the food we went to the gym.. Yay… (not). GOSH! I couldn't even run! No.. i couldn't even WALK! My stomach was crying!! CRYING FOR FOOD!! I overheard a group talking about the camp food. My group went to see what they were saying and guess what?? We found out that the camp food is mixed with the LEFTOVERS from the last group that came here last year!! I was just like “yeah right! Do you have proof?? AYEE??” someone handed me the pictures they took and guess what! There was a box full with food, it had a big label that said leftovers on it! The cooks were pouring the leftovers and mixing it with the fresh food! OMG! THIS IS SO DISTURBING!! This random guy called toby or something like that said “ i am so going to go and send letters to my mum and dad asking them for food!” no one wanted to do that we all wanted to show the pictures to the teachers!

“WHAT! I DON'T BELIEVE THIS!! IS THIS PHOTOSHOP OR SOMETHING!?” Mrs Paniora didn't believe us “Kids! I'm going to go to the cooking room to see if this is true! I will be right back!” we wanted to come too! “Can we come? Please?” mrs paniora let us come with her.

We saw a big door that said ‘cooking in progress please do not enter’ But mrs p ignored that and came right in. we followed her. And guess what we saw?? NO LEFT OVER BOX! “Timmy, can you explain all this?” mrs p was furious!!!  “Umm mrs p…. The left over box WAS true! But.. when my brother came here last year he saw the leftover box and he saw the whole thing! He even took pictures.. But i think he told the teachers and the teachers had a talk with the cooks.. I found these pictures in his room…” timmy was inocente.

But i was still confused.. “But why does the food taste disgusting?” a cook heard us and he came over and said “We TRIED to get rid of the leftovers but.. WE HAD SO MUCH FOOD LEFT! So we just dumped it into the plates.. Nothing goes to waste here!”

We were all speechless.. “You know what kids? Go have your shared lunch. If it runs out then i can just sneak into the teacher's cabin and get some food”

We all were so relieved! No more disgusting mashed potatoes! Or NOODLES!

The rest of the day was great! Even though my group had to do toilet duty… But we still got to talk!

My little sister is going to camp after 2 years i wonder how it's like then? :D or she might not go because the teachers sued the camp people for serving leftovers from 1989?? Oh well, who cares? I am just glad i am going home and i can get back to sitting on the couch watching tv and eating junk food!

Craft market at PCS

At PCS we had a craft market! In room 4 we made some soap, flubber soap (flubber soap is a squishy soap) and we made lip scrubs. It was lots of fun making these things and selling them. We also had face painting. Here is a collage I made on kizoa.

Pop Froth Fizz!

In class for reading we are learning about chemical reactions. first we read a book called: POP FROTH FIZZ! then we had to write down the answers that Mrs P gave us. after that we had to write down on a slide what we learnt about chemical reactions.

Mr and Mrs Twit

Meet Mr Twit The world's hairiest man in the world!

Mr Twit Is a ugly old twit. He was born a twit, he will always be a twit. He has TONS of hair, Hair inside of his nostrils, hair inside of his ears, he has a uni-brow, a long long beard and do you want to know something about his Long Ugly beard? Well, Mr twit thinks his beard makes him look wise and grand. It's hard to tell if he is young or old because his hair is covering his whole face! But that's good because Mr Twit is really ugly, He is so ugly that if you Even look at him, You will be in the hospital for the rest of your lives. In other words: Mr twit would have won the ‘world's hairiest man’ in the book of world records! But of course, it wouldn't say the ugliest man because his hair is covering his face so who knows? He might be a handsome looking guy… Or maybe not.. He is hairy as a grown up cat! But the difference is.. Cats lose hair, Mr twit can't and doesn't even want to!

Meet Mrs Twit, The woman forced to be married with Mr twit.

Mrs Twit Was born as a lovely little girl, She grew up as a lovely little girl. Until, She started having bad thoughts. She had so much bad thoughts that she started looking like her ugly thoughts. Her thoughts were as bad and ugly as 5 day old taco!! I just sometimes wonder why in the world did Mr twit get married to Mrs twit? Or did Mrs twit get married to Mr twit? Or was she on the bachelor and Mr twit was one of the options she had to choose from, Of course every guy would of ran away when they saw Mrs twit. So Mr twit HAD to get married to Mrs twit cause.. Well.. he was forced.. That's why they hate each other! Mrs twit has hair on her chin, a glass eye, a walking stick and she looks like a hunchback to be honest. Cause she his so short! I know i am too but look at that back just look at it! It's a hunchback!! Who agrees with me?? Uh no one? OK then…

Roald Dahl

In reading we had to make a slide about Roald Dahl. We had to do Roald Dahl because its Roald Dahl day on 13 September. It is also Roald Dahls birthday on the 13 September.
